Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said that China opposes holding any kind of G-20 meeting on disputed territory like Jammu and Kashmir. We will not attend such meetings.

Relations with China tense since 2020
In 2020, there was a violent clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers at Galvan Ghat in eastern Ladakh. After this the relations between the two countries became tense. PM Modi said in Japan on Friday that China and Pakistan are responsible for peace on the border. Bilateral relations cannot be normal until there is peace on the border.

In fact, the third G-20 Tourism Working Group meeting under the chairmanship of India is going to be held in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, from May 22-24.
