Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) preliminary examination for recruitment to the post of Assistant is scheduled to be held on April 28 (Friday) from 12 noon to 2.15 pm. This recruitment drive of BPSC aims to fill a total of 44 vacancies for Assistant.

Know Admit Card
This appointment will be for Bihar Public Service Commission, Patna. Interested candidates will be able to download its admit card by visiting www.bpsc.bih.nic.in in April itself. Its applications were taken in September 2022. Out of total 44 posts, 23 posts are unreserved. 4 posts are reserved for EWS, 7 AC, 8 MBC, 1 BC category. One post is reserved for women belonging to backward classes.
Will be allowed to go to the book in the preliminary examination
Candidates will be allowed to carry books in the prelims exam. You will be allowed to carry only one book for each section. That means you can take three books. In books, only text books of NCERT, Bihar Board or ICSE and other boards will be valid. Guide, photocopy, notes will not be allowed.
Selection Process
The exam will be in two phases. The successful candidates in the preliminary exam will be called for the main exam. In the preliminary examination, 50-50 questions will be asked from all the three subjects of General Knowledge, General Science and Mathematics, Reasoning. All the questions will be objective type of one mark each. The exam will be of 2 hours 15 minutes. The final merit list will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in the main examination.
