Bomb Threat: The bungalows of Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra have been threatened with bombs. On Tuesday, an unknown caller called the Nagpur Police Control Room and made this threat. After the threat, the police have started investigating the matter.
The unknown caller is said to have claimed that bombs have been planted near Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s residence, veteran actor Dharmendra’s residence and industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s residence Antilia. The Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) received a threat call on Tuesday. Soon after, the Nagpur Police informed the Mumbai Police.
A threatening call was received from Shivajinagar area of Palghar.
Initial investigation revealed that the threat call was received from Shivajinagar area of Palghar. The threat caller said that around 25 people are coming to Mumbai to bomb the bungalows of Mukesh Ambani, Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra. Following the information, the police have also alerted the local police in Juhu, Vile-Parle and Gamdevi, under whose jurisdiction the bungalows of Mukesh Ambani, Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra fall.
It is being told that Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) teams can investigate after receiving information about threatening phone calls. Let us tell you that in 2021 also, the Crime Branch unit of Mumbai Police had detained two people for spreading rumors of bombs at three railway stations and at Amitabh Bachchan’s house.
