Amar Dev Paswan, Asansol: A case of murder of a BJP leader has come to light in West Bengal. BJP leader’s dead body found in SUV by roadside. After the incident, BJP workers staged a protest by placing the body on the Delhi-Kolkata National Highway.
The deceased has been identified as Rajendra Saav. Rajendra Saav was the convenor of ward number 33 of Asansol Municipal Corporation. According to information, Rajendra’s body was found in his white colored Scorpio. The police have also recovered the bullet casing from the spot.
BJP workers gave ultimatum of 48 hours
After the incident, BJP workers created a ruckus. The workers have also given a 48-hour ultimatum to the police and have said that if Rajendra Saav’s killers are not arrested at the earliest, then the party workers will launch a fierce agitation on the road.
On the other hand, Jitendra Saw, brother of Rajendra Saw, alleges that at around two in the afternoon, he had left for Asansol from Raniganj in a Scorpio. He had told at home that he has to give five lakh rupees to someone in Asansol, but he did not tell to whom this amount was to be given.
Jitendra Saav told that a few hours after leaving his brother’s house, he received a call that his brother’s blood-soaked body was lying on the roadside at Chanda Mor under Jamudia police station.
