Bihar Politics: Upendra Kushwaha will form a new political party, announcement possible today

Bihar Politics: Janata Dal-United (JDU) leader Upendra Kushwaha is all set to form a new political party. According to the information, Upendra Kushwaha can announce the announcement of the party in Patna later this afternoon. Kushwaha had called a two-day open session (February 19 and 20) of JDU workers in the city, in which he sought suggestions from party workers to take forward the future political strategy.

One of the participants of the meeting told news agency ANI that JDU workers expressed their intention to form a new political organization on the first day of the session. “Kushwaha will form a new political party and it is likely to be announced today,” he said. Another activist said that there was a unanimous opinion regarding the formation of a new political party.

The worker told JDU the B team of RJD

Describing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as RJD’s B team, another JDU worker said that there is no point in working with him. He said, “JDU has lost its identity under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, so we need to form a new party for the welfare of the state. Kushwaha has accepted our demand.

ANI tried to contact Kushwaha over the matter, but he remained unreachable, though he tweeted on Sunday, “Will be speaking to press and media colleagues tomorrow, February 20, at 2 pm at Maurya Hotel, Patna.”

Kushwaha’s close friend made these allegations against Lalan Singh

JDU Madhav Anand, a close aide of Kushwaha and a member of the National Executive Council, alleged that JDU national president Lalan Singh is deliberately working to bring down not only the dignity of the party, but also the Chief Minister of Bihar.

He alleged, “Some senior leaders of JDU are engaged in destroying the party so that JDU can be merged with RJD.” He said that Lalan Singh should publicly tell what conspiracy is being hatched to weaken the party under his leadership. Why is the merger of Janata Dal United with RJD not being denied by the party?

JDU gave a hint for Upendra Kushwaha

After a war of words between JDU leader Upendra Kushwaha and Nitish Kumar, Kumar has given a clear message to the party leader that he should leave the party and go wherever he wants to go immediately. Recently many times Nitish Kumar publicly questioned the intention of JDU leader Kushwaha.
