New Delhi: To identify young players, the BCCI has called 20 potential all-rounders for a camp of about three weeks at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. Cricketer Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary Sachin Tendulkar, has also been called for the camp starting in August. Arjun plays first class cricket for Goa. He made his debut for Mumbai Indians in IPL this year.

As per reports, there is also an Emerging Asia Cup (U-23) later this year and the BCCI is scouting for potential youngsters. The all-rounders camp is the brainchild of NCA head of cricket VVS Laxman. Through this, the objective is to create multi-skilled players in all formats. The senior national selection committee headed by Shiv Sundar Das selected the players on the basis of performance and potential.
