New Delhi: England team is on Bangladesh tour. Here the team won the first match of the three-match ODI series by 3 wickets on Wednesday. After this series, both the teams will play T20 series. The three-match series will be played from March 9 to 14. For this, Bangladesh has announced the team. Bangladesh have made five changes to their T20I squad for the first two matches against England. Ronnie Talukdar has returned to the team after eight years. On the other hand, Shamim Hussain has once again made a place in the team after two years. With this, Tauheed Hridoy, Rezaur Rahman and Tanveer Islam have been included in Bangladesh’s T20I squad for the first time.

Yasir Ali, Ebadat Hossain, Mosaddek Hossain, Shoriful Islam and Soumya Sarkar, who were part of the squad for the T20 World Cup in Australia last year, have been shown the door. After the ODI series, Bangladesh will play three T20 matches in Chattogram on March 9 and Mirpur on March 12 and 14.
Who is Ronnie Talukdar
Born in Narayanganj Bangladesh, Roni Talukdar is 32 years old. He has played 98 First Class matches, 123 List A matches and 98 T20 matches. His brother Johnny Talukdar has also been a cricketer. The special thing is that Ronnie played only one T20 International match for Bangladesh. He made his debut in July 2015 against South Africa. He was dismissed after scoring 21 runs in this match. After this he stayed away from international cricket for 8 years. Recently, he stole the show by performing brilliantly in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL 2023). Probably on the basis of this he has been selected in the team.
