Atiq in Naini Jail: Mafia Atiq Ahmed has reached Prayagraj’s Naini Jail. Earlier, he had a medical test in the jail. After this he was sent to the high security barrack. 16 CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor Atiq’s every movement.
Atiq’s brother Ashraf has also been brought from Bareilly to Naini Jail in the Umesh Pal murder case. At the same time, Atiq’s second son Ali is already in this jail. Ali’s barrack has been changed. The jail administration has made such arrangements that the meeting of these three is not allowed before the hearing on Tuesday.
Fatigue on the face, Atik reached to rest after the test
On reaching Naini Jail, Atik’s medical test was done. He was searched. There was tiredness on his face. He opened his towel tied on his head. Then drank water. After that started resting.
Atiq will be given the same food in the jail, which other prisoners get according to the jail menu.

The security cordon outside the jail is very tight.
The administration has made strict security arrangements outside the jail as well. Security forces personnel have been deployed along with the force of several police stations. Barricading has been done at the main gate. Police force is stationed at the gate located on Mirzapur Road. DIG Jail Shailendra is on leave, so the jail headquarters has given charge to DIG AK Singh in his place.
The jail staff are selected on the basis of their records. All the security personnel around Atiq’s cell will have body worn cameras.
Atiq’s movement is being monitored from Lucknow
The barrack where Atiq is lodged has the capacity to hold 50 prisoners. But at this time Atiq is alone. With the help of high security CCTV installed in the barrack, Lucknow Prison Directorate is also keeping a close watch.
Atiq will be produced in the court tomorrow
Atiq Ahmed was lodged in Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat. On Sunday, the UP STF came out of Sabarmati jail with him. He reached Naini jail on Monday. The journey of 1271 km was completed in about 24 hours. The police had taken halt at seven places on the way.
Please tell that tomorrow i.e. on March 28, Atiq Ahmed will appear in the MP-MLA court of Prayagraj in the kidnapping case of Umesh Pal. Umesh Pal was an eyewitness to the murder of former MLA Raju Pal. He was murdered in Prayagraj on 24 February. Atiq Ahmed is also an accused in the Umesh Pal murder case.
