New Delhi: The fitness of Australia’s stormy bowler Josh Hazlewood has been a matter of concern in recent times. Although now he says that he is fresh. He is looking forward to playing in Manchester in the fourth Test of the ongoing Ashes series in England. Hazlewood missed the IPL, the World Test Championship final and the third Test at Headingley. He is now looking ready to play the fourth Test. The Australian fast bowler said, “I was definitely out in the last game. Now I feel better for it. Baseball reduces workload
Hazlewood also talked about Australia’s win of the 2019 Ashes in Manchester. Where he contributed by taking six wickets in the 185-run victory. He said- “I have memories of 2019. Nice to be back here and hopefully get a game.” Talking about England’s new version of baseball, Hazlewood said that the aggressive, more risky style reduces the workload for fast bowlers as they need to bowl fewer overs. However, he insisted that he did not regret missing out on the Headingley Test.

He said- “To be honest, I loved it. We haven’t bowled too many overs in terms of what Test matches are usually like for us. Hazlewood recalled that he was tired going into the World Test Championship final against India, but was fully fit before the start of the Ashes. After missing the third Test, he is looking forward to the remaining two Tests. He said- I am in a better condition than a month ago. I hope to be in the right place to win those last two games and play my part.” The fourth Ashes Test begins on Wednesday (July 19) at Old Trafford, Manchester. Australia is leading 2-1 in the five-match series.
