New Delhi: In a joint operation with the Indian Army, the Central Reserve Police Force has killed 27 terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir this year. It has been told by CRPF that eight local terrorists are included in the list, while 19 foreign terrorists are included. They have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir till July 5 this year.
187 terrorists were killed in the year 2022
According to the report by the news agency ANI, the official statement said that in the year 2022, a total of 187 terrorists were killed by the security forces in the valley. This included 130 local terrorists and 57 foreign terrorists.
A senior official told the media agency that compared to the previous years, there has been a huge decline in the number of foreign terrorists in the valley. According to the statement, the CRPF also informed that 16 Maoists have been apprehended in various operations this year.
Army claims, the picture of the valley is changing
On June 23, four terrorists were killed in a joint operation in Kala Jungle of Machhal sector of Kupwara. The armed forces claim that the new Jammu and Kashmir has defeated terror. From an underdeveloped and militancy affected area has turned into one of the liveliest places in the country.
