New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level review meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs in North Block on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting was attended by NSA Ajit Doval, J&K LG Manoj Sinha, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, DGP J&K Dilbag Singh and other senior officers of MHA and Central Armed Police Forces.
According to PTI, Amit Shah was given a detailed presentation on the prevailing law and order situation in Jammu and Kashmir by the security officials of the Central Government and Union Territory Administration. Also, the situation along the Line of Control and the International Border, attempts at infiltration from across the border and attempts to target members of minority communities were also discussed in the meeting.

Let us tell you that some Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists have been arrested in Jammu and Kashmir in the last few days. After the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019, 118 civilians including 5 Kashmiri Pandits have been killed in the valley till July 2022.
