Adipurush Controversy: Controversy continues across the country regarding the film Adipurush, released in June. The dialogues of the film were completely rejected by the audience and writer Manoj Muntashir was also trolled a lot. After all, Manoj Muntashir has also accepted that people’s sentiments have been hurt due to the film. He has unconditionally apologized to the people with folded hands. In a post posted on Twitter and Instagram, Manoj admitted that the film hurt people’s sentiments.

Adipurush directed by Om Raut is a film based on the epic Ramayana. Many people, from critics to reviewers, expressed their displeasure over some of the dialogues in the film. These include dialogues like ‘Marega bete,’ ‘Bua ka bagicha hain kya’ and ‘Jalegi tere baap ki’.
The dispute reached the Supreme Court
The All India Cine Workers Association has also written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the Mumbai Police demanding registration of a case against the producer, director and writer of the film. A PIL has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking a direction to cancel the certificate of the film for public exhibition. At a police station in New Agra, lawyers protested against the film and lodged a complaint.
The film stars Prabhas as Raghav, Kriti as Janki, Sunny Singh as Laxman and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh.
