2024 Loksabha Election: Less than 9 months are left for the Lok Sabha elections to be held. The BJP and the opposition have started preparing for this. On Friday, Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar gave an important formula to the opposition to defeat the BJP. He said that the opposition needs to forge unity on the basis of a common minimum program against the BJP.

Pawar also said that he would persuade all opposition parties to forge unity on the basis of a common minimum program to give an alternative to the Narendra Modi government at the Centre.

Most of the states rejected the BJP

Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, opposition veteran Sharad Pawar said that the BJP has been rejected in most of the states where it was ruling. Because BJP toppled elected governments to grab power. If people have rejected BJP at the state level, then their (citizens’) outlook will not be any different at the national level.
