Sushant Singh Rajput: The Delhi High Court has dismissed a petition seeking a stay on the film ‘Nyay: The Justice’, based on the life of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

After the death of actor Sushant Singh in the year 2020, the film ‘Nyay: The Justice’ was made, for which the actor’s father Krishna Kishore Singh filed a petition to ban the film. His father had claimed that the film ‘Nyay: The Justice’ was going to be streamed on an online platform which contained defamatory statements and news articles. Also, this film also violates the ‘personality rights’ of Sushant Singh Rajput, so its streaming should be banned.

Now on Wednesday the Delhi High Court has dismissed this petition. In the Delhi High Court, Justice C. Harishankar rejected the application of Sushant’s father Krishna Kishore Singh, saying, ‘Even though the film violates the publicity rights of Sushant Singh Rajput or defames him, but these rights are the personal rights of the actor. There are those who have died with his death. Now in this court hearing, the father of the actor has definitely got a big blow. Please tell that the rights of the film are with G5 and now the film can be released anytime.
