two bowls of soybeans
Two onions (chopped)
Two tomatoes (chopped)
1 inch piece ginger
2- Green chilies (chopped)
ten garlic cloves
few finely chopped coriander leaves
two tablespoons – oil
a pinch of asafoetida
1/2 tsp cumin
teaspoon of salt
Turmeric powder – half teaspoon
Half teaspoon-red chili powder
One spoon- coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp – Chicken masala
Amritsari Style Soybean Vegetable Recipe
To make vegetable, first of all, soak soybeans.
Now finely chop the onion-tomato and green chillies.
After this make ginger-garlic paste.
Now keep the oil in a cooker on low flame for heating.
When the oil becomes hot, add onion and fry till it turns brown.
After this, add tomato and garlic ginger paste to it.
Also add salt as per taste and cook it for about a minute.
After this add all the spices as well, and fry the spices till the oil separates.
Now squeeze the soaked soybean into it and fry it with spices for a minute.
Now add 2 glasses of water to it, and cook till three whistles come.
