Kapil told that once he had reached to meet Amitabh Bachchan after drinking alcohol.
Kapil had come to meet Amitabh drunk with his wife
During the interview, Kapil Sharma mentioned many funny stories. Sharing an anecdote, he told how once he reached Amitabh Bachchan’s house after drinking alcohol. The comedian told that when Firangi was about to release, Amitabh Bachchan was doing the voice-over for the film. He had to go to the studio where the dubbing was going on. I went to the studio with Ginni. It was 8 in the morning and I had already consumed two pegs. Amitabh Bachchan had finished the voice over of Firangi and was dubbing for his film. Drunk, I tried to meet Amitabh Bachchan, but his staff did not allow me to meet him. Despite this, I was adamant that I had to meet him.
Kapil further said- I had introduced Ginni as his daughter-in-law. Amitabh Bachchan was quite shocked by this because he did not know Ginni and had never met her before. However, Kapil later apologized to him and in response Amitabh Bachchan wrote to him- ‘Life is a struggle, life is another name for challenges’.

At that time, he had tried a lot to get Kapil Sharma out of this phase and to make him understand. Kapil tells that during this time Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan helped him completely. He says, Akshay Kumar also helped Kapil a lot in getting out of alcoholism and depression. During the conversation, when Kapil was asked that would he ever like to be a part of politics?
