Ingredients needed to make Gur Pare
1 cup semolina
Half cup – rice flour
pinch of salt
Half cup – Ghee
One cup – Bread Crumbs
One spoon – sugar
half cup water
as needed – oil (for frying)
1 cup jaggery
half cup water
One teaspoon – Fennel
One teaspoon- baking soda
Recipe to make Gur Pare
To make jaggery pare, first of all sift flour and semolina in a bowl.
Now mix salt, soda, fennel, ghee in it, now mix sugar in water and knead tight dough with that water.
After this, keep the dough covered for about 20 minutes to set.
Till you make sugar syrup from the thick jaggery.
After this, put oil in a pan and heat it well.
Now roll out the dough on a flat surface and cut it into one inch pieces.
Now wrap them in bread crumbs and then fry in hot oil on medium flame.
When they turn golden brown from both the sides, take them out in a plate.
Now when they become a little cold, wrap them in sugar syrup.
Now take them out in a plate, and let them cool.
