Holi Special Malpua: Many types of dishes are prepared and eaten on the day of Holi. Holi, the festival of colours, is celebrated in different ways in every state. Both sweet and salty dishes are made on this day. Just like Gujiya is definitely made on this day, similarly in Bihar and UP side, the color of Holi remains dull without Malpua. Malpua is a very tasty and famous dish which is very much liked. They are also very easy to make. If you also want to add sweetness to the color of Holi, then make sweet Malpua with this method.
Ingredients needed to make Malpua Holi Special Malpua
Half cup – all purpose flour
1 cup – semolina
1 cup – water
5 to 5- Pistachios
Half teaspoon – baking powder
Half cup – full cream milk
oil for frying
Ingredients for making sugar syrup
1 cup- sugar
cardamom powder (to taste)
One and a half cup water
How to make Malpua Holi Special Malpua
To make Malpua, mix semolina, refined flour and baking soda in a large bowl.
Now add milk and water to it, and prepare a thin mixture.
Now leave this mixture covered for about 15 minutes to rest.
Till the time you prepare syrup for Malpua.
For this, keep a vessel on the gas to heat it.
Now add sugar, water and cardamom as required and cook it well.
Allow the syrup to boil till it thickens well.
When the fragrance starts coming and a string starts forming from the finger, then understand that the sugar syrup has been made.
Now make Malpua also, for this heat oil in a pan.
When the oil becomes hot, put the Malpua mixture in the pan with the help of a spoon.
These should be of round shape, after that roast them till they turn brown from both the sides.
When the malpua gets roasted from both the sides, take it out in a plate.
Similarly, fry all the malpuas, and then put them all in the sugar syrup and let them soak for 15 minutes.
Now the juice has gone well in all of them. Your delicious Malpuas are ready.
Serve them to the guests coming to your house, everyone will not be able to live without praising you.
Note: Malpua batter should not be too thin.
While frying Malpua, the gas flame should not be very high.
