Ingredients required to make Custard Sevai
1 liter milk
1 bowl thick vermicelli
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Sugar as per taste
2 tbsp vanilla custard
1 cup cream
1 tsp ghee
1 cup – fruits
1 cup chopped dry fruits
How to make Custard Sevai
First boil the milk, and on the other side roast the vermicelli in a pan.
When the milk comes to 2-3 boils, add roasted vermicelli and cardamom powder to it.
Now cook it while stirring it well, keep removing the cream that is around the pan and mix it.
Keep cooking the vermicelli for 7 to 8 minutes on medium flame continuously and keep in mind that the milk should not boil out.
Now take 2 spoons of custard powder in a bowl and mix 5-6 spoons of milk in it.
Now mix it well till it becomes smooth.
When the vermicelli is cooked well, mix sugar and dry fruits in it.
When the sugar dissolves well, add custard paste to it and cook stirring well.
When your vermicelli comes in creamy texture, turn off the gas and let it cool down.
When it cools down a bit, keep it in the fridge.
While the vermicelli is cool, cut your favorite fruits.
Now mix fruits inside the cold vermicelli, then garnish with pomegranate and almonds and serve everyone.
